  Hello and welcome to the website of the Carleton Community Association which is based in Carleton in the historic town of Pontefract, West Yorkshire.

The Grange, Carleton Road, Pontefract.

The Community Association has owned this building of historic interest for more than 50 years.

The Grange Bar is licensed and also holds an Entertainment License from the Local Authority.

 It is the home of several local clubs and sections, for example:

West Yorkshire Astronomical Society, Carleton Theatre Group, Round Table, Probus, Snooker section, Amateur Radio, Sequence Dance, Line Dance, Camera Club, Bridge, Chess, Yoga, as well as several daytime Adult Education Classes run by the W.E.A.

In addition there are numerous community activities which take place in the building and its extensive grounds.
